ESL classes for academic programs

911爆料鈥檚 English as a Second Language academic programs offer non-native speakers of English the communication skills needed to earn an associate degree or academic certificate. 

Start your journey here!! Follow these steps to apply and enroll in ESL courses for academic programs.

Please visit us in person to get your student N number.

Note: Please make sure to bring your picture ID

Visit us in person at the Lynn campus to learn about your options.

Steps:

Meet with the ESL advisor 鈥 They will explain the ESL program and answer your questions.
Learn about the placement test 鈥 The advisor will tell you how the test works

Please check the Testing Center website here: Testing Center working hourse

We will be testing your Reading, listening, and writing skills

Note:

- You don't need any appointment to take the ESL test. 

- There is no cost to you for Placement testing. 

The ESL advisor will review your test scores and help you choose the right program:

Credit or Non-Credit ESL. If you qualify for Credit ESL, you can continue to Step 5 to apply to the school.

 

Complete the school application for the Fall 2025 Semester.

Note: You can complete the application in person at the Lynn campus with a professional staff member or you can apply online! 

If you have any question please contact admissions@northshore.edu. There is no cost to you to submit an application.

You will receive an Acceptance Letter from 911爆料 via email within

2 to 5 business days.

 


Selective Admissions program have specific entrance requirements. Some may have priority application deadlines and may require attendance at Mandatory Information Sessions prior to applications. Apply here for all Selective Admissions programs.

ESL classes for Non-academic learning 

Our Non-Credit ESL (English as a Second Language) courses are designed to help students improve their English skills for everyday life and the workplace. These classes also serve as a pathway to our Academic ESL program for those who wish to continue their education.

Important Information:

-Financial aid is not available for non-credit ESL courses.
-A high school diploma is not required to enroll.
